OXO Good Grips Box Grater

One of the simplest tools of the kitchen is the grater, whether it’s used for cheese or other ingredients, a good grater is an awesome tool to keep in your kitchen. Graters aren’t expensive products to have either but the ordinary grater I had, held over a plate was just annoying when I was in a rush trying to get my ingredients all lined up. When I saw this Oxo Good Grips Box Grater I had to grab it, it was only $14.99 and came with a box that

attaches to the bottom of the grater and it even has measurements notched on it to help you measure your ingredients as you grate instead of having to grate and pack your ingredients in to a container. Sure this one only saves you a step but it’s a great step to save!

The Oxo Good Grips Box Grater is carried over at Amazon.com and is a part of the free shipping products they carry as well as being a part of their buy three get a fourth free product sector so if you find three other tools for the kitchen that you like in the same product sector here you can get this one free!

Fiesta Products Baker's Style Sil-pin Silicone Rolling Pin, Black

I have been through my fair share of rolling pins in my time and all have had their good and bad points but after having this Fiesta Products Baker’s Style Sil-pin Silicone Rolling Pin for a month and a half I have yet to find one issue with it. I opted for this one since the cheap one I had been using began really irritating me with the handles going every which way and the plastic roller just not cooperating…you can’t expect much more from something you only paid a couple bucks

for though can you? So I opted to pick up one of these silicone rolling pins, the kind without the handles and I have to say this is one of the most amazing bakery purchases I have made to date. I didn’t have to spend a fortune…after all it is JUST a rolling pin, and I didn’t have to settle for a wooden pin that collects and breeds bacteria despite being washed thoroughly!

I grabbed my Fiesta Products Baker’s Style Sil-pin Silicone Rolling Pin from Amazon.com simply because I had a gift card there and I was unable to find this particular type and brand at my usual stops.

Rachael Ray 365: No Repeats--A Year of Deliciously Different Dinners (A 30-Minute Meal Cookbook)

There are so many people out there who cannot stand Rachel Ray for whatever reason but I am not one of them. Not only do I find Rachel Ray endearing but I absolutely love 30 minute meals because they’re quick, easy and you can pick from multiple choices of what you want to make and still have it done in 30 minutes. The one problem I have with cook books as opposed to baking books is that usually cook books don’t give you a lot of choice of meals without getting all fancy and

taking hours on end to prep and then cook them. The Rachael Ray 365: No Repeats–A Year of Deliciously Different Dinners (A 30-Minute Meal Cookbook) gives you 365 different 30 minute meal recipes to cook from which is absolutely amazing and you can’t beat it for under $20!

You should be able to find this book in any bookstore that stocks cookbooks so your local Barnes and Noble etc should carry it; however, if you pick it up from Amazon you’ll save yourself a few dollars!

    The Last Lecture

Along the lines of yesterday’s motivational dvd today’s product of the day is a motivational book that I am certain many of you have heard good things about all ready. "The Last Lecture" by Randy Pausch is based on a last lecture given by a computer science professor at Carnegie Mellon university. Randy had been diagnosed with terminal cancer and really had to give the last lecture. The great thing about Randy’s book; however, is that it isn’t so much about the end and the "I wish I had’s" it was

about ways to make your childhood dreams come true and how to seize the moment of every day because, like he found out for himself, one day the end might just sneak up on you. While the story of Randy makes me tear up just thinking about it the book itself is amazing and definitely worth a read by everyone out there!

You can pick up your copy of The Last Lecture at any book store, I grabbed my copy at Amazon.com for $12.07.

    The Secret (Extended Edition)

I rarely buy in to motivational speeches or dvd’s or books but when my roommate brought home "The Secret" dvd I figured i’d watch it with him for the sake of watching it. I have to admit I was more than skeptical when I started the movie; however, after I watched the first few minutes I got sucked in. The whole concept of the story is written around the mere drawing factors of the universe. The idea that merely wanting something enough will draw it to you and thinking only about the negatives

will draw those negatives to you. The story is a lot more eloquently put in the DVD or if you like reading more you can check out the exact same story in "The Secret" book. The dvd is a narrative with different examples of people’s stories and is, if nothing else, an entertaining watch and a positive experience to watch.

You can pick up this dvd at just about any dvd store but it tends to be a little more expensive at most stores so I picked up my copy of this one from Amazon with free shipping.
