Okay so it’s just a pot scrubber right? Most people use these scrubbing brushes in their kitchens when *gasp* handwashing dishes, now these brushes work perfectly for washing dishes but my favorite place for this scrubbing brush is my bathroom sink. Being a woman I make frequent use of makeup, I use powdered mineral foundation which tends to stick to the porcelain of my bathroom sink like there is no tomorrow and not only does it stick but it stains which isn’t good news for your

porcelain. I keep this scrubbing brush on the side of my bathroom sink and although I apply my makeup daily I find a once around the sink with it once every three days or so keeps the makeup from sticking and staining my porcelain. You have the option of using a cleaner inside this brush such as a dish soap; however, I find that warm water works perfectly to keep the grunge off my sink with a once a week whip around with an antibacterial cleaner keeps away any bacteria that may form on the sink surface.
You can pick these scrubbers up at any grocery store or local megastore for a few bucks a piece. I recommend "splashing" out and getting the $5 version of this scrubber rather than going for the dollar store scrubber brush because the dollar store versions will rust internally as well as fall apart quickly. |
