I adore elaborate cakes and cake designs but the problem with adoring them is that I try to emulate them and I am by no means that talented. It was amid a cake designing experiment that I decided that cake designing was definitely not as easy as it seemed to be on all of those tv shows and I needed help so I ran out to my local bookstore and picked up this book. The Confetti Cakes Cookbook: Spectacular cookies, cakes, and cupcakes from New York City’s Famed Bakery is

There are so many people out there who cannot stand Rachel Ray for whatever reason but I am not one of them. Not only do I find Rachel Ray endearing but I absolutely love 30 minute meals because they’re quick, easy and you can pick from multiple choices of what you want to make and still have it done in 30 minutes. The one problem I have with cook books as opposed to baking books is that usually cook books don’t give you a lot of choice of meals without getting all fancy and

taking hours on end to prep and then cook them. The Rachael Ray 365: No Repeats–A Year of Deliciously Different Dinners (A 30-Minute Meal Cookbook) gives you 365 different 30 minute meal recipes to cook from which is absolutely amazing and you can’t beat it for under $20!
You should be able to find this book in any bookstore that stocks cookbooks so your local Barnes and Noble etc should carry it; however, if you pick it up from Amazon you’ll save yourself a few dollars! |

Along the lines of yesterday’s motivational dvd today’s product of the day is a motivational book that I am certain many of you have heard good things about all ready. "The Last Lecture" by Randy Pausch is based on a last lecture given by a computer science professor at Carnegie Mellon university. Randy had been diagnosed with terminal cancer and really had to give the last lecture. The great thing about Randy’s book; however, is that it isn’t so much about the end and the "I wish I had’s" it was

about ways to make your childhood dreams come true and how to seize the moment of every day because, like he found out for himself, one day the end might just sneak up on you. While the story of Randy makes me tear up just thinking about it the book itself is amazing and definitely worth a read by everyone out there!
You can pick up your copy of The Last Lecture at any book store, I grabbed my copy at Amazon.com for $12.07. |

This book is ideal for the mom that likes to have kooky birthday parties for her kids or the teacher who likes to treat her classroom.
This book is only one of about ten that I would recommend for cupcake decorating ideas, all of them are carried and recommended by Amazon.com so if you don’t care for this one as much just take a look around and you’re sure to find one that suits you! |

I have a collection of cookbooks and recipe books in my kitchen that I live by but when you look at all of my cooking books you will notice that more than half of them are cookie recipe books. This cookie recipe book by Better Homes and Gardens is one of my cookie Bibles and I wouldn’t be without it. My other featured cookie book is amazing but in the past month I picked this one up and I have to say it has replaced my old favorite cookie recipe book. This book contains 475 recipes
