So I am most definitely not one of those women who loves to go to the gym but for the sake of saving myself the expense of a new closet…okay and for my health I drag myself to the gym. The only thing that makes the time go faster during a workout is my Ipod and I would not be anywhere without it. I never bought in to the Ipod craze until one year I was given one for Christmas, since then I have no idea how I did without one. Now I have an old school Ipod Nano that is no longer produced

(the kind that only plays music and not videos) but the new version of the Ipod Nano comes with the ability to play video as well for the same price as my old school Nano. I never bothered to upgrade since my Ipod still works perfectly and I never had the desire for the jumbo bulky Ipod Video they brought out shortly after the Nano. The Nano does the job perfectly and is small enough to strap to your arm in a $20 arm holster, whereas that huge Ipod Video sits in an arm holster much like…well something really really big sitting on something really really small.
For $199 you can pick your own color 8GB Ipod - if that means nothing to you, think 2,000 songs. |

Okay so men think they’re the only ones who care about a nice picture on the TV. I have to tell you that just like most everyone else I like to relax in front of the TV after a long day at work and to be honest I never thought there was a difference between a rear projection TV and an LCD TV. I never complained about my TV…that is until I spent time at my fathers house and spent some time watching his 46" Sony Bravia LCD TV. I know it’s another big ticket item but seriously, you’re going to love

me for it. Going from a rear projection TV (a present in return for my better half selling his motorcycle) to the LCD there is such a noticeable difference in the crispness of picture and if you have access to HDTV channels this TV is like nothing you’ve ever seen before, the colors are amazing and the clarity of picture is unbelievable.
Of all the LCD TV’s I looked at before I finally bit the bullet and bought what so many people refer to as "a man’s TV", the Sony Bravia outdid every other brand by far. So if the 46" is a little too much for you, or not enough, pick your own size, just stick with the Bravia and it helps if it’s 1080p to enhance the clarity of the picture. Okay it may not be a MUST have but I REALLY love these Sun and Moon jars! Each jar has a rechargable battery inside and features low energy LED lamps. Once the jars are placed in sunlight they charge from solar power and at night time the jars emit awesome orange and blue glows similar to sub or moonlight. The jars have sensors inside to determine when they should turn on; however there is an override switch under the lid of the jar if you don’t want the light shining on you

all night (can you say GREAT idea?) The best part about these jars is that they’re watertight so you can use them outdoors for entertaining friends. The best time to use them is on those summer nights when you’re grilling out with friends, put them out on the deck and they give off that "fireflies in a jar" look and look absolutely amazing as well as tasteful.
Although they’re sold seperately I have a couple of each of these simply for the effect of outdoor entertaining, by no means do you have to do the same but I certainly recommend getting a couple if you’re going to use them as decor! |
