Since getting my KitchenAid Artisan mixer I have made more of a conscious effort to eat right and part of that effort includes not eating as much red meat and when I find myself eating red meat or needing it for a recipe instead of buying the red meat that is preground and prepacked at the grocery store I purchased the meat grinder attachment for my Artisan mixer and now mix my own ground beef. The problem with the prepacked stuff that you pick up from the grocery store is that

there are regulations on that meat that allow stores to get away with packing it full of the "nasties" that you don’t even want to think about when you’re eating your meatloaf, things like veins, blood clots and skin. I told you it was gross.
The grinder attachment for the Artisan mixer can be picked up from any store that carries Artisan mixers for around $50, the price doesn’t change much at all. |

I have never really been one for "having tea" despite the fact that i am British and I do, indeed, enjoy a cup of hot tea; however, as I have grown older the need to have a "fancy" china set and "formal" place settings has wormed it’s way in to my life and the need to be prepared just in case a business colleague comes over and truly expects me to hold afternoon "tea" or some such ricidulous thing arises. So I set about on my journey to finding a delicate, yet suitable "tea service" to

entertain my imaginary and highly finickity guests. While I still have yet to find an entire tea set that I care for I have found a creamer and sugar set from Amazon.com that I adore and shall be picking up for my tea set to be. The Pfaltzgraff Pistoulet Sugar and Creamer Set.
The Pfaltzgraff Pistoulet Sugar and Creamer Set that I picked out is available from Amazon.com; however, if this one doesn’t suit you, you can always find a million other varieties over at Amazon! |

Being that my roomate is of Asian descent he tends to eat a lot of rice, not to have that sound like a steriotype as I am quite aware that many Asians don’t eat a lot of rice however the point remains that my roomate does and as a result we both make extremely good use of our rice cooker. When purchasing our rice cooker we were both well aware of the amount of use the thing was going to get so instead of opting for the cheaper model we went for one of the most recommended brand

names in rice cookers, the Zojirushi. Zojirushi makes some really amazing rice cookers with great features such as multi-menu cooking functions, an LCD control panel, a keep warm option, and a timer. This ten cup rice cooker by Zojirushi measures 15" x 11" x 10" and is perfect for any family that cooks a lot of rice like we do!
You can find Zojirushi in most online stores, they are a little harder to find in other stores locally but you might get lucky and spot one if you look hard enough. As for me, I ordered ours through trusty Amazon.com and have absolutely no complaints! |

Even with all of the baking I do I still, on occasion end up with bits of egg shell in my batter and it drives me absolutely insane. Not only does this KitchenAid Egg Separator separate the yolk from the white of the egg but it also affords you more room to work with when cracking your egg so that you are less likely to end up with egg shell in your cookie batter! This nifty little tool comes with a one year hassle-free replacement and a limited warranty, it is also dishwasher safe and has a

Chocolate is a fairly new venture for me and the only reason I took on the challenge was due to a friend getting married and she had asked me to help her make chocolate wedding favors for her reception. The mold she picked out was the one shown above, a wedding/engagement ring chocolate mold that retails for under $3 for one mold. We purchased a couple of molds due to the amount of pieces of chocolate she needed; however, if you’re not looking to make a large

amount or if it’s just a single person activity you can stick with just one mold. We grabbed these molds from Amazon.com and they have a plethura of different types of candy molds to choose from so if you’re not looking for something for a wedding or engagement you can choose from a variety of other molds, literally HUNDREDS of them.
Take a look around Amazon.com to find any type of mold you can imagine. If you have a specialty baking store near you you may be able to find these locally; however, we don’t have one locally to us so we had to mail order. |
