Anyone who buys this is an idiot. Please send your $10 dollars to me instead. Like the person above said, just touch your key to whatever your pansy self is afraid of and it will discharge the static electricity

I have one and you do have to ground it on something metal but it takes the shock, you do not. I use it to dissipate static when I feel a charge building up. I know what Stanley is talking about the power of the shocks and this can eliminate them.

Wow. Sounds like it could be handy, but I would never pay money to save myself from getting static shocks. They’re only an annoyance, and a short one at that. Grow some balls and put up with the 5-seconds worth of pain.

What’s the point of touching it to a grounding object?
Just grab the ground before you do anything that will create static.
