Since getting my KitchenAid Artisan mixer I have made more of a conscious effort to eat right and part of that effort includes not eating as much red meat and when I find myself eating red meat or needing it for a recipe instead of buying the red meat that is preground and prepacked at the grocery store I purchased the meat grinder attachment for my Artisan mixer and now mix my own ground beef. The problem with the prepacked stuff that you pick up from the grocery store is that

there are regulations on that meat that allow stores to get away with packing it full of the "nasties" that you don’t even want to think about when you’re eating your meatloaf, things like veins, blood clots and skin. I told you it was gross.
The grinder attachment for the Artisan mixer can be picked up from any store that carries Artisan mixers for around $50, the price doesn’t change much at all. |
