I decided one night as I watched Paula Deen (my favorite cook in the world) that I was going to try my hand at pasta making but in order to fully experience the pasta making experience I needed to pick up a pasta maker to run my pasta dough through. After searching around I decided that the Roma/Weston Pasta Machine 6in - Model 150P was the model for me, it was cheap and looked easy enough to use for a first time pasta maker. Once I got it in to the kitchen I have to admit I was a little daunted by the task of creating my own pasta but it turns out that this particular model of pasta maker really isn’t that tough to use! Which is a great thing for unexperienced pasta chef wannabes like myself! Instawares.com also has additional attachments available for this pasta maker so you can create all different cuts of pasta from angel hair to lasagna!
Picking out a pasta maker can be a very daunting task, as can making pasta for the first time. If you have the money to shop around local stores without going to a discount outlet go and take a look, or if you’re like me and prefer to pinch a penny go and shop around, pick out the model you like and then shop it online at the discount stores! |
